For future reference, I do not actually speak Vietnamese. But, um, some Vietnamese people speak French, so I may use that.
About me.
I'm a seventeen-year-old high school student who resides in America. Ideally, I'd love to live in Europe - preferably London, but maybe Switzerland or France.
I'm in French III, which means that, while I'm not fluent, I understand a lot of French (or more than most people I know, anyway), though I may occasionally make mistakes.
I'm trying (and generally failing) to teach myself German. However, my French II teacher was rubbish, and I basically taught myself that year, so we'll see how I do.
I'm hoping to either be an astrophysics or theatre major, and I'm aware that they're completely different fields - but I love them both very much.
I'm in theatre in school, but my new theatre teacher is very... er... bad. She's nice enough, but she's clearly used to teaching superficial acting to pre-teens rather than teaching serious acting to teenagers who want to do theatre for a living, so you may see me complain about her out-of-character.
I got into Hetalia due to my interest in history, and one of my friend's insistence. Honestly, for a while, I wanted to major in history in college (but then I found astrophysics, and then...). I like both historically-accurate and crack Hetalia - though with my favourite nations, it's usually the former.
Where I live, there's nothing for teenagers to do but "smoke, have sex, and do drugs" - and seeing as I'm not interested in any of that, I find that I'm often either reading or on the internet (or watching Doctor Who or K-dramas...). However, that being said, I'm enrolled in almost all AP and Honours classes this year - which means that I have a massive homework load, most of the time.
I write and draw quite a bit - and often get badgered by friends and family to be an art or literature major (but that's not going to happen, so...). If you want to see any of my drawings / read anything I've written - just ask.
My other fandoms. Ooh. I love Harry Potter, very, very much. It was my first real fandom, and has a special place in my heart. I also love Fullmetal Alchemist, Ouran High School Host Club, and Doctor Who.
I have an interest in the Mortal Instruments Series - but I haven't finished the books, so I don't count that as a fandom. The same goes for the Lord of the Rings.
Like Maple, I use European spellings (colour, favourite, theatre). It really bothers me when people write "theater" above all - to me, a "theater" is only a place (and misspelled at that) - "theatre" is the art. I also use Briticisms. A lot.
And, er, that's pretty much me.
