Hello and Salutations!
I am a newcomer to proboards and still a little nervous on forum based roleplaying, so I beg your forgiveness as I may be shakey. Typically I respond better to absent questions about myself rather than blithering on, but it appears I must blither.
My name is Arlen Chase and I am a strapping twenty-two years of age. For over seven years now I have been with Miss Maple, my fiancé. That, to me, is the most important thing about myself. It’s hard for me to not go off on tangents about her, but I shall manage, hmn?
Currently I work as a baker and quite childishly I can’t decide what career I wish to follow. My prayers are going towards a high paying job so I can get a degree in game design at our local community college. From there I want to take us to Canada and work for Ubisoft. The company is amazing in the fact that it’s very multicultural and quite diverse in its range of games.
If that didn’t reveal anything about me being a gamer geek I don’t know what will. I love rpgs, but I do dabble in the occasional shooter, racing, or other genre type. My current gaming obsession is Assassin’s Creed 2. I love it and spend far too long playing it.
As far as hobbies go, I have several. I’m big on reading manga and comics, but I prefer drawing even more. If we can rig this scanner we received to the laptop then perhaps I can show my pg stuff off. Afraid I draw too much NC-17 stuff. Waaay too much.
I play piano often when waiting on Maple to finish class at the college and enjoy different sorts of music. I don’t think I’m really adverse to any type of music, though some I’m less willing to listen to than others. Things like gospel and heavy metal are a bit tough for me to enjoy, but there are some values in them that I sometimes enjoy.
I know I could talk about much more than this, but I would rather have questions asked. Please, if you’re curious don’t be shy. I’ll answer questions about fandoms I enjoy, books, movies, games, or off the wall questions most people would find offensive. Don’t worry. It takes much to offend me!
At any rate, I hope to enjoy playing with you all soon!
