It’s already that time, team! It’s our First Activity Check! Now, now, don’t get spooked – By the time you read this, the PMs have already been sent out to the members that we are checking up on the status of. If you didn’t get a PM, then congratulations, you’re totally safe, just keep doing what you’re doing, because you MUST be doing SOMETHING right!
Players that DO receive a PM for one reason or another should message a moderator (Be it Matthew Williams, Alfred F. Jones, Kuso Perez, or Ivan Braginski) within TWO DAYS with WHY your character has not met the activity requirement here. We’re not just going to delete you, we promise. . . We are, however, very curious as to where you have gone and whether or not you DO still want your character. It sucks, we know, but with no activity we can’t have an active board – Right now we’re in our most crucial stage because we are such a young board. I want to see who is still here before I go make another advertisement post.
Reasons You MAY receive a PM :
a. Your character was accepted and you have not posted with them since.
b. Your character was accepted, you posted, but you haven’t been seen in over a week.
c. You have not met the once-a-week to every one and a half week posting minimum.
d. Your character has not met their first-post-within-five-days requirement.
If you meet none of the above criteria, or have left a note saying you would be on hiatus, then you are excused from this activity check! People on hiatus, don’t think it means you can get –away- with not posting when you come back either. Moderator’s are noting. *wink*
A WORD OF WARNING : In the next activity check, Email/Text/Instant Message threads will NOT count as “real activity” unless your character has posted within it MORE THEN SIX TIMES. It’s the only way to make up for the fact that there is no minimum word-count in the texting area.
Anyway, don’t feel threatened and just take this in stride! Thanks!
