Updated Totals~!
Masquerade : 8 Red and Blue : 2 Campfire : 1
I'll let this keep running until Monday, October 11th at midnight to finish voting, either in the poll itself or the comments here! By then we'll either have all of the members having voted...or the majority. XD
Either way, following that, I'll announce the results in the NEWS section and open up the Site-Wide Events Section with a forum JUST for this Halloween Event!

So the totals are in! The Masquerade Ball won by a landslide, with a total vote count of NINE and that was without mods voting! I said it would stay open until tonight at midnight, buuuut turns out almost -everyone- had already voted. c:
The topic has been created for the Ball, and it is ready to be played in! It will remain open Through November 1st at midnight, so try to wrap up all of your threads in that amount of time. It's alright if you don't -- I won't LOCK the area -- but try to because after that will begin the next event~ Not all events will last this long. Because this is our first event, I'm making it SUPER long. Most will only last about two weeks tops. c:
Q. Okay, Ball. Awesome. Wat do? Haha, alright, let me try to explain.
The Masquerade Ball will function in a similar way to how the old Victorian Balls did -- Characters will come in costume with masks covering their faces. The mask need not hide the -entire- face, but it MUST cover the eyes away from view to give an air of mystery to the whole thing. Characters need not come AS something (a cat, a tomato, etc), they may just dress really pretty and wear a really pretty mask.
While masks are on, characters may also try to hide who they really are. This Ball is a chance for everyone to be someone they are -not-, and get away with it. Sure, some characters may be obvious, but some might not~ Don't automatically go, "OH. HAY, I SEE A GILBERT." if he's trying to hide. Play the game, and pretend not to know who they are~
Masquerade Balls, of course, have dancing and this is no different here at Nocens Tactus. There will be modern music and dance, of course, but at points it may switch to old music and dance style -- And yes, you character could at least TRY to learn how to do the dance. Some may even know these old dances! Buddy up with them!
Food, Drinks, and, yes Feliciano, candy will be offered at this Ball spanning a long table running the length of the building this is held within. This ball will actually be held in a Grand Hall section that is usually closed to students (mostly because it's rumoured to have been built over 200 years ago, and the architecture SURE suggests those rumours may be true!).
At the end of it all, there will be a costume contest and an "Un-Masking" where a single character playing the "Emcee" of sorts will unmask each character participating, then the winner will receive a prize. This prize is To-Be-Announced, but I'm sure your character will love it.
As for us Muns, we'll have our own contest! In the "General" section, feel free to begin a thread where we may post our costumes for this Halloween, then we will vote on one another and SOME kind of prize will be offered. Idk what that will be at this moment -- Me and the other Mod are working on that (in vain).
Any other questions may be asked in this thread! THANKS EVERYONE~
